Are you frustrated with the state of education in Maryland? Do you wish you knew who to contact to tell them your thoughts? Do you want to know what is going on up in Annapolis?
For the answers to these questions and more, come to the “How and Why to Lobby” Town Hall, sponsored by the EACC Government Relations Committee on January 27, 2016, at 6:00 PM in the La Plata HS cafeteria.
We’ll have a Legislative update from MSEA. We’ll have a presentation telling you what lobbying is, how to do it, and why it is effective. We’ll also discuss how to contact your elected officials in an email or letter.
If you want to advocate for yourself, your profession, and your students, please come to our How and Why to Lobby Town Hall on January 27th. Maryland’s Legislative Session begins on January 13, 2016 and EACC has lobbying trips already planned February-April. Learn how to make YOUR voice be heard locally and at a state level!
