Cheryl Ervin attended and graduated from Delaware State University in Dover, Delaware in 1976. She holds a B.S. in Elementary Education. She began her teaching career in East Orange, N.J. in 1976. She moved to Maryland in 1977 and has taught for 38 years in Charles County. She received her M.Ed /Reading Specialist from Bowie State University in 2008. In her 38 years in Charles County, she has been a classroom teacher, Reading Resource Teacher and is currently a Certified Reading Recovery Teacher. Cheryl has been an EACC building representative, and is currently serving as a member- at- large on the EACC Executive Board.
