- Introduce yourself
- Tell your experience in Charles County (how long have you been working here, what od you teach, etc.)
- Introduce the issue you wish to discuss
Paragraph 2:
- Tell YOUR personal story that is related to the issue
Paragraph 3:
- Tell them what you are asking them to do to help, and
- Give suggestions that you may have to help them get that accomplished

- Include your contact information in your signature
- If you live in Maryland, include your mailing address to show that you are a constituent. If you live in VA, just have your school address showing, because you are writing to them as a concerned teacher.
Remember:
- Be respectful in your tone and word choice in your letter/email
- It is a good idea to write your email and then have a colleague proof it for you before you send it
